Public Prayer-Hollywood 1960

A few nights ago, I borrowed the LaserDisc version of John Wayne's 1960 classic "The Alamo"  from my brother George. One of the special features included a very rare "The Making of..." documentary. What a surprise to see that The Duke (who produced, directed and starred in this classic film) had a Catholic priest bless the crew and actors on the first day of filming.  I can't imagine any production today publicly petitioning the Lord to be w/ them and to watch over them.
